The hotel was originally built in 1884 by the famous czech architect Frantisek Heberle in Art-Nouveau style.
Its exterior appearance is decorated with magnificent sculptural ornaments – head embossments, each of different styling and rich plastic ornamentation as well.

It was completely renovated and certified as four star hotel Golden Tulip Prague Terminus which was reopened at the beginning of September 2003.
