I stayed at this hotel for two nights in November 08. Overall, I enjoyed my stay so with that in mind I would rate this hotel as very good and would recommend the hotel to anybody who plans a visit to Prague.

The welcome at reception on arrival was very pleasant, something you hope for as the first impression does have a lasting effect. The check in was quick and effiecent, I was in lift on the way to my room in no time at all. I requested a high floor, adjacent room (alongside the people I was travelling with) and a non-smoking room. I got what I requested, very grateful to the hotel staff for meeting the requirements requested.
The room was very spacious, clean and was adequately furnished so it provided me with a good base for my three day stay. There was a tv, tea/coffee making facility and mini bar in the room. The mini-bar was fairly priced, sometimes you can get over-charged for this convenience but not here, which was also the case for the hotel bar. Their food and drink prices were again, very fair and acceptable. If your in Prague on business and require internet connection, there is connection available in your room for free. Also, two computers are available in the lobby area just to the left of reception. Again, free connection was available. The in room safe was easy to use and the air con was individually controlled to suit your demands.

The bathroom was spotless, extremely clean which is an important factor. Complimentary toiletries, a power shower (very good) and heated towel rail awaits you in this good sized bathroom.

The breakfast was varied in choice and plentiful. The restaurant is situated on the ground floor, reception is floor two so basically breakfast is in the basement ;-) The food and drink provided was good, served from 6.30am to 10.30am. The area was keot clean, as was all the hotel. Great care and attention is given to the cleanliness throughout the hotel.

The door into the hotel is big, heavy and beautifully crafted! Don't try and manually open it like i did first off, its heavy. Take the sensible option and push the electronic pad to the right side of the door, its easier ;-) Something I didn't notice on arrival.

The location of the hotel is a casual five minute stroll to the Powder Tower, the gateway to the Royal Route which leads through the Old Town over the Charles Bridge to the castle. Come out of the hotel door, turn left and its a straight walk to the Old Town. Easy.

A bit of advice, eat and drink off the Old Town Square you get much better value for money. I hope you enjoy your time in Prague like I did, I will definately be returning for a 2nd visit.
