We actually moved to this hotel to escape the incessant noise in a hostel we had originally booked to stay in. Yes Hostel, so that gives an indication of our original budget. The price we managed to secure was more than reasonale for the generous quad room we stayed in at the Golden Tulip. The staff were very nice, readying the room for us by 1pm as opposed to the standard 2pm and allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel while we went out to explore. The bathroom was excellent with powerful shower in a cubicle as well as shower over the bathtub and hairdryer. There were also lots of large mirrors so that us four girls could all get ready for a night out at the same time as opposed to the standard shifts in front of the mirror. Breakfast was included in the price and the selection of hot and cold food was adequate and tasty. And the very very best thing about this hotel... the peace and quiet at night! A very good stay.
