Booked on other reccommendations found on the website. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk away from the Powder Tower and ideally located for those who have high standards but not necessarily the pocket to suit! We booked a Superior Suite and it was absolutely out of this world - there is a super queen bed and I was delighted to note that the mattress was every bit as comfortable as the one we have at home. The room was massive and the bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and a power shower. We expected a very basic breakfast but that was fantastic too - everything from fresh fruit to scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. The hotel is a little bit out of the way for people who can't walk long distances (bearing in mind the walking you will do throughout the day) but for the fit and healthy the walk back to the hotel probably takes 10 - 15 minutes from the town hall. The hotel staff were brilliant - they stored our luggage on arrival and after we had checked out.
Simply cannot fault this hotel we will definitely return.
