The Golden Tulip is a very nice hotel. Our friends and I had very clean, nice rooms with a safe. The air conditioning was above par as it was very hot the days we were in Prague. Breakfast was wonderful, a bountiful buffet with hot and cold items. The staff was friendly and helpful. The driver they arranged for us to and from the airport and the opera house was very nice and also helpful. The train, subway and tram are all close or within short walking distance. Old Town within walking distance as are restaurants, drug store, grocery, post office. The computer and free internet in the hotel lobby was also very nice to have available for our use. We also felt that we were safe in this neighborhood. We stayed here twice and would stay here again.
